The BICDPrix is one of the few events in the world offering a professional networking experience, workshops, support and opportunities to dancers who excel in the contemporary style of dance. It is a first in offering gifted young dancers a platform to present their skills before the eyes of leading contemporary directors and choreographers for the opportunity to further their careers.​The ambition of the BICDPrix is to continue to develop its recognition on the International dance calendar. Our mission is to bring the contemporary dance world together by engaging internationally acclaimed directors and professional artists who are inspirational leaders in their field to educate and develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of contemporary dance. The BICDPrix aims to provide talented young dancers (aged 15-22) opportunities to engage with leading international training institutions and professional dance companies through a weeklong program that develops opportunities for training placements and professional internships to develop and progress their professional careers.
