The BICDPrix is delighted to again invite dancers aged 11 to 14 to experience the professional world of contemporary dance. The 6 day workshop will include classes in contemporary, ballet and creative tasking and dancers will have access to view coaching classes. Classes will be taught by our national and international professional artists. In addition dancers will be involved in the creation of a short work to be performed live on stage in front of an audience, coaches and the panel.

Classes will run from 9am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday ( subject to programming) and all Junior Dancers will be required from 10am to 5.30pm on Saturday 3rd October for the Finals performance. Costuming is included although dancers will be required to bring a black bottom of their choice, either shorts, track pants or tights. The Junior Performance Group director will determine what the dancers will wear regarding footwear, however it is recommended dancers bring both black and flesh  socks for the week. 

Dancers are welcome to attend the Industry Forums on the Thursday/Friday evenings. Further details will be available closer to the date. This exciting  initiative is to give young dancers a taste of the professional aspects of creating new works and developing their stage craft, as well as immersing themselves in the inspiring and creative atmosphere that the BICDPrix has become recognised for around the world.
